Course Introduction

The Management of Value (MOV®) is an integrated methodology designed to manage the flow of value in the organisation and deliver the value with better use of the resources without reducing quality. The Management of Value (MOV®) Foundation course equip delegates with the knowledge regarding MoV® techniques, processes and principles. The two days Foundation course is designed to help individuals and organisations manage their services, projects and programmes effectively and consistently. The course enables the delegates to contribute to an improvement in decision making and policy making, maximize returns on investments, achieve transformational change more quickly, fulfill the key stakeholder requirements and balance the increasing demands with the available resources without compromising on quality.

Course Content

The MoV Foundation training course is provided by Datrix Training where you will be taught by one of our experienced instructors. 

The main aim of the MoV® Foundation course is to maximise value through the economy, efficiency and effectiveness. By the completion of the course, the delegates will be able to understand the value management methodology comprising a unique set of techniques, principles and processes, clarify the objectives and value priorities of the organisation, how MoV® can be applied within an operational environment and tailoring and embedding of MoV® within their organisation. 

MoV® Foundation Exam

The MoV® Foundation course prepares the delegates in acquiring the MoV® Foundation certification. The delegates are expected to achieve 50% marks to pass the examination. Details of the exam as follows:

  • 40 minutes in duration
  • Multiple choice questions
  • 50 questions total
  • Closed book exam

The MOV® Foundation course has no pre-requirements. However, basic knowledge of project, programme and operational environment would be beneficial.

Who should attend this course?

The course is intended for individuals who have no previous experience and who want to gain sufficient knowledge so that they can positively contribute to any project or in the operational environment. The course is also beneficial for:

  • Operational staff and managers who wish to acquire the knowledge of the overall structure of value management.
