The five day MoP® Foundation & Practitioner course provides an overview of the portfolio management cycles, techniques and practices, approaches to implementing portfolio management and assessing portfolio management maturity, principles upon which effective portfolio management is based and purposes and responsibilities of the main portfolio management roles identified in MoP®. The Portfolio Management helps individuals and organisations make effective decisions about implementing the right changes to business as usual.

Course Content

The MoP® Foundation & Practitioner training course is provided by Datrix Training where you will be taught by one of our experienced instructors. 

The course enables the delegates to work as an informed member of a Portfolio Office, apply and tailor MoP® guidance and identify the purposes of the main portfolio management documentation. By the completion of the course, the delegates will be able to apply and tailor MoP® effectively, plan the implementation of portfolio management and adapt MoP® techniques and principles to accommodate different organisational environments.

MoP® Foundation and Practitioner Examination                        

MoP® Foundation

  • 40 minutes duration
  • Closed book exam
  • Multiple choice questions
  • Total 50 questions
  • 50% pass mark

MoP® Practitioner

  • 3 hours long
  • Open book exam
  • Objective based testing
  • 4 questions worth 20 marks each
  • 50% pass mark

The Practitioner exam is to be completed at a mutually convenient date (please see the below details for further information).
