Course Introduction

The Planning and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager course equips the delegates with the knowledge and skills required to design and deploy a System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager hierarchy and its associated site systems. The course enables the delegates to replicate data and manage content in Configuration Manager, plan for the deployment of the central administration site and configure Internet as well as cloud-based client management. The course also familiarizes delegates with the concepts of migration from System Center 2012 Configuration Manager to System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager.

During the three day course, the delegates will explore the Configuration Manager infrastructure and the typical deployment scenarios, plan and deploy a stand-alone primary site, plan and configure Configuration Manager administrative users and access, plan, configure, and monitor data types, intersite communication, replication, and content, plan and configure Internet and cloud-based client management, perform maintenance tasks and perform migration tasks from Configuration Manager 2007.
