Opening hours
Monday – Friday 9.00 – 17.00. Closed weekends & bank holidays.
Dress Code
Most delegates prefer smart but casual wear.
Registration
Course registration & signing in takes place in the training room. Please go to the counter at the cathedral gift shop. Staff will direct you to your training room on the first or second floor.
Mobile phones.
We respectfully ask delegates to switch off their mobile phones during training sessions to avoid interruptions.
Messages
If you need to be contactable during a training session please advise your instructor at the start of your course. Our main sales office is contactable on 0800 781 0626 and they will be happy to pass any messages to you as soon as soon as possible.
Refreshments & lunch
Free refreshments are provided in the training room including tea, coffee and a variety of biscuits. Lunch is also included in the price of your course. Lunch is taken as a plated hot meal each day in the refectory in the conference centre.

Smoking
All Datrix venues are no smoking. Delegates are welcome to smoke in the designated areas outside the building.
Parking
There are several multi storey car parks located close to the training centre. The car parks are not free to use and cost in the region of £8 – £10 per day. The price of parking is not included in price of your course.
Hotels / Accommodation
There are several places to stay nearby. Favourites with delegates have been:
Travel Inn – ¼ Mile away, Cost approximately £50 per night B&B
Renaissance Hotel, ¼ Mile away, Cost approximately £120 per night B&B
Note: Please book your accommodation direct with the hotel.
Directions by Car
M62 - leave by junction 17 (A56) - This is a main road passing the Cathedral and is signposted for Manchester City Centre etc.
Travel along this road for approximately 5 miles. When you pass the Boddington’s Brewery on your left followed by the new MEN Arena the Cathedral is under the bridge on the left.
Travelling from the South and West
M6 - M62 - M602 - Take the left turn into Deansgate and continue to the end - the Cathedral is on the right.

The cathedral is a 2 minute walk away from Manchester Victoria station. |
